Frames - There are two steps to making any of our trikes into a full blown ExerCar. Step One is to give it a frame. I know I'm much more protected with the frame. The steel wraps my feet and rolls over my head. The sides have steel as well and are braced across right behind me at the shoulders. I rolled one of these over in a rocky, 4' deep roadside ditch, lifted the trike back up onto the road, and took off again. With no more than an elbow stinger, I was fine. These are great, well-engineered frames! $450
Wind/Rain Shields - Once you're wrapped in tubes of steel, the next step is the Wind/Rain Shield. This custom-made shield is 6'6" long and covers you from head to toe. Think of it as a 40-mph umbrella. You're not fully enclosed but are well protected from both wind and rain, so a few minutes under a blow drier and you should be good to go. Sure beats being pelted and soaked from head to toe. I love the view from "under glass." The upper two-thirds is clear acrylic, the lower third is high impact polystyrene. $450
The above options are available for all 5 models. |
